UK openings are listed below: Molecular Biologist (Core Technology Lab). Diagnostics - Craigavon Ref No: AD/MB/02 The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of the QPCR facility as part of the Almac Diagnostics Core Technology Laboratory. He/She will work and liase closely with the Core Technology Laboratory Manager and the Technical R&D Laboratory Manager, to develop, validate and perform sample processing for customer Gene Expression projects, SNP Genotyping projects and internal R&D projects. In addition the successful candidate will be expected to perform sample processing for high throughput genomic technologies when required. This will involve working with other Almac departments and liasing with Project Managers to define their requirements, to allow accurate generation of customer and development projects. Research Project Managers Diagnostics - Craigavon Ref No: AD/PM/02 The successful candidate will utilise an extensive knowledge of the genetic, molecular, cellular, and epidemiological aspects of solid tumour cancers along with excellent organisational and project management skills and a solid knowledge of the application of microarray technology to establish relevant molecular subtypes of these diseases and develop reference databases of this information. Responsibilities will also include managing the planning, design, conduct and reporting of individual projects within the R&D division of the company . |
